Punggol parents preparing a preschool subsidy application should use ECDA’s official Supporting Documents Checklist. The documents needed depend on the circumstances and application route.
ECDA says the HOMES Ops team or ECDA will contact you directly if additional information or documentation is needed. Keep track of requests and respond through the specified process.
Start by identifying the checklist section that matches your situation, then ask the preschool about anything unclear. A document required for another family’s application may not be the document needed for yours.
In this guide
CHAPTER 1 OF 4
Open the official checklist
Use the ECDA Supporting Documents Checklist linked from its supporting documents guidance. The version inspected carries a 7 February 2025 effective date.
Read the relevant scenario and its notes together. Reopen the official link when applying so you are using the available current document.
CHAPTER 2 OF 4
Match evidence to the reason
For example, the training or study scenario of at least 56 hours asks for school or training-agency documents showing acceptance, duration, schedule and commencement date.
For an applicant who is pregnant and has stopped working, the checklist asks for a memo or document stating the estimated delivery date. These examples describe evidence, not automatic subsidy approval.
CHAPTER 3 OF 4
Check your copies before submission
Make sure requested pages are readable and show the relevant names, dates and information. Keep the originals and a copy of what you provide.
If the evidence you have does not clearly address the requested point, ask the preschool for clarification. Avoid guessing what an incomplete document will establish.
CHAPTER 4 OF 4
Track further requests
Keep a simple record of what was requested, what you sent and the submission date. Follow the channel and any deadline specified for your application.
If you have already supplied a document but receive another request, ask whether a clearer copy or different information is needed. Responding precisely helps keep your application understandable.
Information checked on 12 October 2026. Follow the current official instructions and the guidance given for your child’s application.
