If you move to Punggol as an individual property owner, update your residential address with ICA. IRAS normally uses the residential mailing address on your identity card for property tax correspondence.
Once the ICA address is updated, IRAS automatically sends property tax correspondence to the new address. Its published guidance says you do not need to notify IRAS separately for that residential-address change.
If you want correspondence sent somewhere other than your residential address, follow IRAS’s separate mailing-address instructions. Log in to myTax Portal and open Inbox, myTax Mail, to provide the requested alternative address.

Decide which address change you need
A move to a new home and a request to send letters elsewhere are different tasks. Start by identifying whether you need to update the residential record or ask for an alternative mailing destination.
Write the full block, street, unit number and postal code before starting. Having one complete address ready reduces copying mistakes across your moving checklist.

Complete the residential update
Use ICA’s official address-change service when updating your residential record. Keep the acknowledgement and follow any remaining verification instructions from that service.
Put the update in the same household folder as your other moving records. If you need help later, you can explain what you submitted and when instead of reconstructing the sequence.

Request a different mailing destination
Use the myTax Mail route described by IRAS if you want property tax correspondence sent to another address. Explain the intended destination clearly in the official service.
Before choosing a relative’s address, agree how letters will reach you promptly. An address that is convenient for delivery still needs a reliable routine for passing on time-sensitive notices.

Keep payment reminders separate
Maintain a separate note of your property tax bill and its due date while dealing with correspondence. That helps you track the payment even when several moving tasks are still open.
After completing the address work, review your own checklist and mark the actual steps finished. Keep unresolved items visible rather than treating the whole move as one completed action.
