If you lose your NRIC in Punggol, ICA says to report the loss immediately and apply for a replacement within 14 days from the report. Use the reporting service linked from ICA’s official lost-identity-card page.
A police report is not required for ICA’s lost-IC replacement process. Even if you have made a police report, you still need to report the loss to ICA through its e-Service. Checking a Punggol shop’s lost-and-found desk does not complete that reporting task.
If you find the card after reporting it but before applying for a replacement, contact ICA through its enquiry form with copies of the front and back. Once the replacement application is submitted, ICA states that a new card will be issued and the fee will not be refunded.

Record the loss clearly
Write down when you last had the card and where you noticed it was missing. Keep the ICA reporting reference and date with your replacement paperwork.
If it was in a wallet, list the other missing items separately. Contact the issuer of each payment or access card through its own official channel rather than assuming one report covers everything.

Prepare the replacement application
Read ICA’s current document and photograph requirements for your status and any changes to particulars. Use Singpass to access the official application.
Give yourself time to check the photograph and supporting files before submitting. Do not upload identity documents to an unfamiliar service just because it advertises a faster replacement.

Plan around the official outcome
Check ICA’s current processing and collection instructions before arranging a trip from Punggol. Wait for the actual approval or collection notification rather than treating submission as readiness for collection.
If the missing card affects an upcoming appointment, ask that service what identification it accepts. Avoid assuming a photocopy or another document will be accepted for every transaction.

Let household members know that the card has been reported so a later discovery can be handled through ICA’s instructions. Keep any enquiries in the same private record.
For medical situations where the holder cannot report personally, use ICA’s stated assisted reporting route. A family member should check that process rather than sharing or using the holder’s login without guidance.
