If you want to change your child’s MOE Kindergarten morning or afternoon session in Punggol, contact the child’s own MK and use its current request process. Punggol Green MK publishes a Transfer of Session Request Form on its official forms page.
A session-change request is different from withdrawing from kindergarten or applying to another MK. Submit the form matching your intention and ask the kindergarten to confirm the outcome and effective date before changing the child’s attendance.
For working parents, the practical check extends beyond class time: clarify KCare arrangements, collection and transport as well. This guide explains how to request a change clearly and keep the existing routine workable while awaiting the kindergarten’s response.

CHAPTER 1 OF 5
Use the child’s own kindergarten instructions
The Punggol Green MK forms page lists session-transfer, withdrawal, waitlist and temporary non-attendance forms separately. Open the labelled session-transfer link from that official page.
Those forms are for Punggol Green MK. If your child attends another Punggol MK, use that kindergarten’s website or office instead; a nearby kindergarten’s form is not a general application for every centre.
CHAPTER 2 OF 5
Explain the change you need
State the current session, requested session and your preferred start date. Briefly explain the practical reason, such as a changed caregiver arrangement, without adding unnecessary personal detail.
Ask whether the request can be accommodated and what information is required. A submitted request should be treated as awaiting a response until the MK confirms the arrangement.
CHAPTER 3 OF 5
Check care and collection together
If the child uses KCare, ask how the requested class-session change interacts with that care arrangement. Do not infer a care change from the class-session request alone.
Check who can collect the child under the revised routine and whether an authorisation needs updating. Punggol Green’s forms page also lists an E-Authorisation Pass form, which is a separate task from requesting a new session.
CHAPTER 4 OF 5
Review the family’s actual journey
Walk through the proposed day from leaving home to collection. A session that suits one parent’s work may create a gap for the caregiver responsible for the afternoon.
If transport is arranged, ask the provider whether the changed timing is workable and what notice it needs. Confirm those details rather than cancel an existing arrangement based on a request that is still pending.
CHAPTER 5 OF 5
Keep the transition clear
Save the MK’s response, effective date and any instructions about the child’s first day in the new session. Share the confirmed routine with the adults involved in drop-off and collection.
Explain the change simply to the child: when they will go, who will bring them and who will collect them. Our MOE Kindergarten overview provides the broader context; use the child’s MK for individual arrangements.
