Waterway Point’s published pickup and drop-off notice places the relocated PUDO point along Punggol Walk, while the taxi stand is opposite the mall along Punggol Central. If you are arranging a Waterway Point pickup, do not assume that the old main-entrance waiting area is still the correct place.
The mall announced that the relocation took effect on 9 June 2025 because of Cross Island Line Punggol interchange construction. Its notice also says the former main-entrance PUDO was modified for carpark entry and exit from 16 June 2025. Follow current signs rather than a saved photograph of the old arrangement.
For a private-hire booking, choose the pickup point shown in your booking app and check that you and the driver mean the same road and side. A Waterway Point taxi queue, a booked-car pickup and a carpark entrance are different destinations; this distinction matters when travelling with children, shopping bags or a pram.

Find the correct pickup before leaving the mall
Open the mall’s relocation notice and your booking app before heading outside. Read the road name, pickup label and any instructions together. If they disagree, clarify the collection point with the driver before moving your group.
A useful message is: “I am at the pickup point labelled [name] on [road]. Please confirm this is your pickup location.” Avoid saying only “Waterway Point entrance”, because it does not identify a specific collection point.

Use the marked taxi stand when joining a taxi queue. For a booked taxi or private-hire vehicle, follow the confirmed booking instructions; do not automatically move to the taxi queue because a vehicle looks like a taxi.
If you are meeting a family member driving a private car, send the designated pickup location rather than the mall’s general address. The address identifies the building, not necessarily a lawful or usable place for a car to stop.

Make the transition from indoors to the pickup point a coordinated move. Have bags packed and children beside their caregiver before the car arrives. Use an appropriate pedestrian route and crossing rather than stepping into traffic to shorten the walk.
With two adults, one can confirm the marked pickup position while the other stays with the group. With one adult, keep the group together. Never leave a child waiting alone while searching for the vehicle or checking another entrance.

Rain, construction and changed signs
Construction can alter familiar access routes. Temporary barriers, marshals and posted directions take priority over this planning guide. Do not enter a carpark driveway on foot simply because it used to resemble the old pickup approach.
During rain, wait in a suitable sheltered pedestrian area until the pickup is confirmed, without obstructing doors or access routes. Ask mall staff for directions if you cannot identify the marked point; this is more useful than guessing from a map pin.

Message or call through the booking service and describe the sign and road you can see. Do not cross a road informally or ask the driver to stop in an unsuitable place. Agree on a designated collection point and allow time for the driver to reach it.
For a future visit, save the official notice link rather than a fixed screenshot alone. Recheck before travel: the mall explicitly notes that information is subject to change. This guide does not promise a specific walking time or shelter along every approach.
