To check the last train in Punggol, identify your starting station, travel direction, travel date and any onward connection. Punggol MRT, Punggol Coast MRT and Punggol LRT do not share one universal last-train time. A last departure from one platform does not guarantee that you can complete a transfer elsewhere.
SBS Transit’s published regular North East Line table lists the last HarbourFront-bound departure at 11:28pm from Punggol and 11:25pm from Punggol Coast. These are baseline timetable entries, not a promise for a particular night: special-event arrangements, maintenance and service notices must also be checked.
If you are returning to a Punggol LRT station after an evening outing, verify both the MRT journey into Punggol and the LRT service from Punggol Town Centre. Leave enough time for the transfer rather than treating the final MRT arrival and the last LRT departure as interchangeable.

Start with four details, not a search snippet
Write down the date, starting station, final destination and direction of travel. “Last train Punggol” is incomplete if you mean arriving in Punggol from elsewhere, travelling south towards HarbourFront, or transferring to an LRT station.
Use the operator’s first-train/last-train page and then check current notices. Timetable pages can display different update dates for different lines. Search previews, old social-media posts and a screenshot from a previous visit are not enough for a time-sensitive connection.

Understand what the listed time means
A departure time refers to a train leaving the named station in the stated direction. It is not the time you should arrive at the station entrance, and it does not include finding the gate, reaching the platform or waiting for a lift.
The two baseline southbound entries above refer to separate stations on the North East Line. They should not be used as a last-train deadline for a journey towards Punggol Coast, or as the last departure from another station elsewhere on the line.

For an LRT destination, identify the East or West Loop and consult the operator’s relevant departure information. Confirm that the service and direction shown actually reach your stop. Check announcements if the usual operating pattern has changed.
Do not calculate a guaranteed connection merely by subtracting two published clock times. You also need the incoming train’s arrival, the transfer route, any queue or lift delay, and the actual service available that night. When the margin is narrow, choose an earlier journey.

Special dates can change the answer
Public holidays, major events and scheduled works may have separate notices. Read the dates covered by a notice carefully: an extension on one evening does not automatically apply on another. Likewise, an announcement for another line does not establish Punggol LRT operating hours.
For travel on 10 October 2026 or any other specific date, check that day’s applicable operator notices rather than treating the regular timetable quoted here as a live service forecast. This article is a checking method, not a real-time departure board.

Work backwards from the earliest connection you must catch, then allow a personal buffer for walking and transfers. The necessary buffer depends on the actual route, your mobility needs and who is travelling with you; there is no universal five-minute rule.
Agree on a backup before the outing ends. If the required service has finished or a connection is no longer realistic, use another suitable transport option instead of running through the station or attempting to enter as doors close. Verify its availability and price separately.

Quick answers to common last-train questions
Can the last MRT guarantee the last LRT? Not automatically. They are separate services, and you need to check the connection. Does midnight mean trains continue from every station? No; use the station and direction-specific timetable.
Can Punggol Coast timings be used for Punggol MRT? No. Read the row for your actual station. Can a regular timetable override an on-the-day announcement? No. Follow current operator information and seek staff advice when the published information is unclear.
