How P1 Registration Works, in One Minute
- Registration runs in phases, each for a different group of children: siblings first, then children of alumni and staff, then community and parent volunteer links, and finally everyone else in Phase 2C.
- If a school has more applicants than places in a phase, priority goes to Singapore Citizens first and then by home distance to the school: within 1km, then 1km to 2km, then beyond.
- If there are still too many applicants in a priority group, MOE holds a ballot.
- If your child does not get a place in Phase 2C, you can apply in Phase 2C Supplementary to schools that still have vacancies.
