Punggol Green Primary School currently describes its vision as “Future-Ready Leaders With The Heart For Others”, with a mission to engage, nurture and empower learners by igniting the joy of learning. Its stated philosophy is that every child can succeed.
The school’s current curriculum also includes:
- an Applied Learning Programme in STEM through IGNITE, developing innovative thinking, design thinking, collaboration and real-world problem solving;
- a Learning for Life Programme focused on Student Leadership, beginning with learning to lead oneself before leading others;
- Character and Citizenship Education aligned to the school’s values and MOE’s 21st Century Competencies;
- educational technology aimed at preparing students for a technology-transformed world;
- PE, Art, Music, PAL and CCAs supporting broader development.
That context matters because a tuition provider should not pretend that academic lessons alone constitute a complete education.

PSLE: prepare seriously, interpret carefully
PSLE is a significant Primary 6 checkpoint because it affects Secondary 1 posting. Current Singapore pathways, however, are more flexible than the old streaming model. Posting Groups facilitate entry to Secondary school and students can take subjects at different G1, G2 and G3 levels under Full Subject-Based Banding.

- Is vocabulary too narrow for the text level?
- Can the student infer and justify?
- Are grammar weaknesses disrupting clarity?

Adding sophisticated vocabulary will not repair a weak story structure or an unsupported comprehension inference.
Mathematics support: identify where reasoning breaks
A wrong Mathematics answer can come from different causes:
