Punggol tutors for 2017
Punggol tuition classes for Primary and Secondary by our experienced tutors have started for 2017 for English, Science and Mathematics. Our end-of-year school holiday classes comprises mainly of enrichment tutorials that will be useful for the curriculum, a revision on past year topics that students are weak in, as well as learning new topics for the next year.
New materials prepared, old methods refreshed and fine-tuned
Our Punggol tutors have spent the last three weeks preparing for the new year of 2017 and have been gearing up for the new semester guiding new students that recently joined our tutorials as of 4th November 2016, as well as making new materials and fine-tuning our syllabus to further suit our students better. Also, we have to keep ourselves updated to any new changes in syllabus for 2017 and beyond and we take every opportunity to upgrade ourselves to become better at teaching our students.
Keeping tuition relevant to our students
Our materials have to be relevant to our students as they will feel bored easily or wasting their time in class. We update the materials to reflect that, by including general trends in our everyday lives. Today has the exciting news of Donald Trump being the new President of United States of America, and we will have this topic in our future classes for the next two weeks and teach certain aspects of the election to our students, even if its newspaper cuttings that we make our student read in tuition as part of our enrichment programme, or in our Secondary English tuition, we will discuss the political systems that governs our world for part of their essay writing.
As we find that children usually gets interested in trending news when everyone else talks about it, our tuition takes advantage of this enthusiasm and includes it into our lessons. It is a great way to edukate our students, have them understand material, and engage effectively with their social groups with the matured understanding that makes them an intelligent individual.
Our care to make sure students understand and learn in a fun way
At eduKate, we believe that students need to enjoy themselves when they are learning. Going to class should be a wonderful learning process rather than a torturing grind. It helps them to learn faster, memorise it better, and generally grow confident that they are becoming smarter from every class that they attend.

We are extremely gentle with the students when it comes to mistakes, making sure they learn from it, and not fear making mistakes during class and clarify them with us.
